Use of Afterthought

Use Afterthought, this website, downloads, and support channels lawfully and respectfully. Do not use them to harm other people, interfere with the service, or violate anyone else's rights.

Your local data

Afterthought is designed for local personal notes. You are responsible for the recordings, notes, chat messages, and other content kept on your own device.

Model downloads and updates

The app may download model files and updates needed for local AI features. Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, mirror, or misuse those downloads.

No hosted note service

Afterthought does not provide a hosted workspace for your notes. If you delete local data, change devices, or lose access to your device, Afterthought may not be able to recover that content for you.

Abuse is not allowed

Abuse of any Afterthought website, app feature, download, contact form, or support system is not allowed. This includes attacks, spam, automated misuse, impersonation, attempts to bypass protections, or using Afterthought for unlawful or harmful activity.

Support and contact

For questions, use the noCreativity contact page. Do not send passwords, payment details, private recordings, note contents, or other sensitive personal information through public contact channels.

Changes and availability

Afterthought may change over time, including features, terms, model availability, update behavior, and support options. The app and website are provided without a guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
